Meeting Minutes

Saratoga, CA
1. Call to Order Meeting called to order by the Chair at 4:00pm
2. Roll Call: Present: Stallman, Swan, City liaison Borel; Absent: Waltonsmith
3. Report on Posting of the Agenda: So done
4. Accept Agenda Items and Order: No change
5. Approval of Minutes. Minutes for June 20, 2016 meeting approved
6. Oral and Written Communication: None
7. Old Business
• Blue Hills Safety Railroad Crossing update: Application is before the CPUC
• Trail Report: Staff provided a hard copy
• Anza Trail Certification update: Ribbon cutting will take place when signs are
received/installed
• Prospect Rd. Complete Streets Project: Going to construction in the spring
• Highway 9: Pathway construction is completed
• Traffic Safety Projects Updates: Sharrows are being considered for the Village
8. Staff Report:
Pending Trails updates
– Congress Springs Park connection to Cox will likely get considered next year
– A path is needed along Bohlman at Norton where a new fence was built encroaching on an
existing path

Keep up visibility on CPUC regarding Blue Hills RR Safety Crossing
Staff to look at improving configuration of Quito at McCoy
Investigate Bohlman new fence at Norton and path impact/improvement
