Review of minutes from January 6, 2015 meeting. c. Posting of Agenda – Pursuant to Government Code Section 54954.2, the agenda was properly posted on February 24, 2015. d. Non-Agendized Communications - Any member of the public may address the Commission about any matter not on the agenda for this meeting for up to three minutes.  Commissioner Nugent spoke with Jo Rodgers, owner of a historic Mid –Century Modern home at 18500 Montpere Way, who is interest in having her property listed on the inventory. e. HPC direction to staff regarding non-agendized communications - Commissioners may not comment on the matter but may choose to place the topic on a future agenda. 3. New Business: a. 19935 Herriman Avenue (HPC15-0001) – Review proposed roofing materials for an existing single-family residence located on a Heritage Lane. Staff memo provided. b. 14140 Saratoga Avenue - (HPC15-0002) – Review proposed roofing materials for an existing single-family residence located on a Heritage Lane. Staff memo provided. c. Heritage Tree Society – Discuss selection of an HPC Liaison (no memo). d. Discussion of possible new procedures or regulations for reviewing potentially historic homes which are 50 years of age or greater (no memo). Page 2 of 3 4. Old Business a. Review and discuss Historic Walking tour from the February meeting. b. Review HPC Work Plan (no memo) 5. Action Items for Discussion / Update (No memo): a. Quarry Property – Staff to provide update on the Quarry Master Plan, as applicable. b. Hakone Gardens – Staff to provide update on Hakone Gardens Master Plan, as applicable. c. Update: John Henry House – Staff to provide an update, as applicable. d. Update: Heritage Tree Inventory - Commissioners to update, as applicable. e. Update: Heritage Resource Inventory - Review list of potential properties for the Heritage Inventory – see attached list prepared by Commissioner Nugent. f. Update: FAQ assignments – Discuss Status  Heritage Inventory – Conrado  Landmark Structures – Stransky  Heritage Trees – Schuck  Mills Act - Shah g. America in Bloom – Commissioner Cappello to provide update. 6. Commissioner Comments a. Commissioner Nugent is requesting the creation of a spreadsheet type log of approved items – First section will be for the Heritage Resource Inventory (see white board chart). Along with the date & property address the log will contain checked columns to indicate that the property was added to Inventory list, DPR, and Web. This list will be accessible via laptop at each meeting. 7. Any recommendation made by the Heritage Preservation Commission may be appealed to the Planning Commission within ten (10) days of the date of the decision. The appeal shall be taken by filing with the Secretary of the Planning Commission a written notice and filing fee within ten (10) days of the date of the decision. Brown Act, copies of the staff reports and other materials provided to the Historical Preservation Commission by City staff in connection with this agenda are available at the office of the Community Development Department Director at 13777 Fruitvale Avenue, Saratoga, California 95070. Any materials distributed by staff after the posting of the agenda are made available for public review at the office of the Director at the time they are distributed to the Planning Commission.
