REGULAR MEETING

Call to Order
Present: Cosyn, Guichard, Harris, Kane, Kirk, Musselman and Vita
Staff: Mainini Cabute, John Cherbone, Franziska Church
Report on Posting of the Agenda: Pursuant to Government Code Section 54954.2, the agenda
for this meeting was properly posted on January 6, 2014.
Accept Agenda Items: No additional items may be added pursuant to Government Code
Section 54954.2.
Oral & Written Communication
Any member of the public may address the Commission about any matter not on the agenda
for this meeting for up to three minutes. Commissioners may not comment on the matter
but may choose to place the topic on a future agenda.

1. Traffic Matrix #316
Issue: Request to restrict parking on both sides of Saint Charles Street.
Action: TSC will make recommendation.
- GUICHARD MOTIONED TO DIRECT TRAFFIC ENGINEER TO EVALUATE THE
LOCATION.
- MUSSELMAN GAVE A SECOND MOTION.
- APPROVED 7-0-0
2. Traffic Matrix # 317
Issue: Request traffic calming and speed reduction on Beaumont Avenue between the
section of Thelma and Herriman.
Action: TSC will make recommendation.
- MUSSELMAN MOTIONED TO INVITE SCHOOL PRINCIPAL TO A FUTURE
TRAFFIC SAFETY MEETING.
- VITA GAVE SECOND MOTION.
- 6-1-0 APPROVED. KIRK OPPOSED.
- MUSSELMAN MOTIONED TO PLACE RADAR TRAILER ON BOTH SIDES.
- VITA GAVE SECOND MOTION.
- 7-0-0 APPROVED.
- MUSSELMAN MOTIONED TO INCREASE DIRECT ENFORCEMENT AT
BEAUMONT.
- VITA GAVE SECOND MOTION.
- 6-0-1 APPROVED. KANE ABSTAINED.
3. Report back on traffic safety measures based on Commission recommendations
Action: Information only. Staff will provide a verbal report.
