Report on Posting of the Agenda: Pursuant to Government Code Section 54954.2, the agenda
for this meeting was properly posted on September 6, 2018.
Accept Agenda Items: No additional items may be added pursuant to Government Code
Section 54954.2.

Sheriff’s Report to the Commission
Old Business
1. Traffic Matrix #416- Prospect/ DeAnza-Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road
Issue: Request by Adwait Ullal to improve traffic safety at entrance and exit in front of Valero gas
station on DeAnza- Saratoga-Sunnyvale.
Action: TSC will review and discuss data collected by the traffic engineer and make a
recommendation
2. Traffic Matrix #420- Montalvo Road (Moved to September meeting)
Issue: Request by Rajeev Shrivatsava to reduce speeding and improve traffic safety on
Montalvo Road.
Action: TSC will review and discuss data collected by the traffic engineer and make a
recommendation
3. Traffic Matrix #422- Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road at Kirkmont Drive
Issue: Request by Robert Pearse to improve pedestrian safety across Saratoga-Sunnyvale at
Kirkmont Drive in Saratoga.
Action: TSC will review plan prepared by traffic engineer and discuss various approaches to
improve pedestrian safety.
New Business
4. Traffic Matrix #423- Stoneridge Drive
Issue: Request by John Chenault to remove no parking sign in front of his home at the
intersection of Stoneridge Drive and Bank Mill Road.
Action: TSC will review and discuss data collected by the traffic engineer and make a
recommendation.
5. Traffic Matrix #425- Charters Avenue
Issue: Request by Paula Grassi to reduce speeding and improve traffic safety on Charters
Avenue.
Action: TSC will review and discuss data collected by the traffic engineer and make a
recommendation.
6. Traffic Matrix #426- Myren Drive
Issue: Request by Thao Le to improve visibility on Myren Drive due to vegetation.
Action: TSC will review and discuss data collected by the traffic engineer and make a
recommendation
7. Traffic Matrix #427- Manor Drive
Issue: Request by Srikant Sharma to install traffic light at the intersection of Manor Drive and
Saratoga- Sunnyvale Road.
Action: TSC will review and discuss data collected by the traffic engineer and make a
recommendation
8. Traffic Matrix #428- Ravenwood Drive
Issue: Request by Shelly Cuccias to reduce speeding on Ravenwood Drive.
Action: TSC will review and discuss data collected by the traffic engineer and make a
recommendation
9. Traffic Matrix #429- Austin Way
Issue: Request by Anuj Kapur and Tina Soltani to reduce speeding on Austin Way.
Action: TSC will review and discuss data collected by the traffic engineer and make a
recommendation
10. Traffic Matrix #430- Quito at Austin Way
Issue: Request by Erika Lo to reduce speeding on Quito at Austin Way.
Action: TSC will review and discuss data collected by the traffic engineer and make a
recommendation
11. Traffic Matrix #431- Moran Lane/ (Heritage Lane)
Issue: Request by Jan-Yu to reduce posted speed limit down to 25 mph.
Action: TSC will review and discuss data collected by the traffic engineer and make a
recommendation
12. Traffic Matrix #432- Toll Gate at HW9
Issue: Request by Mohini Balakrishnan to consider stop sign or traffic light at Toll Gate Road and
Highway 9.
Action: TSC will review and discuss data collected by the traffic engineer and make a
recommendation
