Call to Order Meeting called to order by the Chair at 4:00pm 2. Roll Call: Stallman, Swan, Waltonsmith; City Liaison Borel and Associate Engineer, Burkhalter. All present 3. Report on Posting of the Agenda: Pursuant to Government Code Section 54954.2, the agenda for this meeting was properly posted on April 11, 2018. So done 4. Accept Agenda Items and Order: No additional items may be added pursuant to Government Code Section 54954.2. No change 5. Approval of Minutes. Minutes for January 16, 2018 meeting approved 6. Oral and Written Communication: None Any member of the public may address the Committee about any matter not on the agenda for this meeting for up to three minutes. Committee Members may not comment on the matter but may choose to place the topic on a future agenda. 7. Old Business • Blue Hills Safety Railroad Crossing update: Council took action to award design contract • Prospect Road Improvements update: Construction is underway – sidewalks being done first • Anza Trail Certification update: Staff is checking with the National Park Service • Traffic Safety Projects Updates: Pedestrian flashing beacons are planned at Cox- Cumberland, Lexington-Herriman, Quito/McCoy – beacons are now approved for use by the Feds • Bohlman and Norton: Changes will take place at the next opportunity where a new fence was built encroaching on an existing path 8. Staff Report • Pending trails update – Village to Hakone Trail approved by the Council. Quarry Park volunteers cleared out many French Blooms and continue to work monthly • Announcements – Paramount side path to be looked at 9. New Business • Circulation Element Update – Ped/Bikes enhancements/updates are in the draft 10. Reports (information only, no actions to be taken) • Hakone Storm Cleanup in progress • Weeds along Saratoga Avenue – southwest of interchange • New church along Allendale frontage to be looked at – still missing path or sidewalk 11. Action Items Summary • A sign will be needed for the path connecting the Village to Hakone • Attend the Circulation Element update meetings 12.
