Call to Order at 4:00 pm 2. Roll Call: Stallman, Swan, Waltonsmith; City Liaison Borel, Engineer Burkhalter. All present. 3. Report on Posting of the Agenda: Pursuant to Government Code Section 54954.2, the agenda for this meeting was properly posted on January 9, 2019. So posted. 4. Accept Agenda Items and Order: No additional items may be added pursuant to Government Code Section 54954.2. No changes. 5. Approval of Minutes. Minutes for October 16, 2018 approved 6. Oral and Written Communication: Any member of the public may address the Committee about any matter not on the agenda for this meeting for up to three minutes. Committee Members may not comment on the matter but may choose to place the topic on a future agenda. David Fitch from Western Wheelers Bicycle Club attended asking for Memorial Bench on Hwy 9 near Carnelian Glen. 7. Old Business • Blue Hills Safety Railroad Crossing update – decision from CPUC delayed until March 2019 • Prospect Road Improvements update – hardscape completed, irrigation and landscaping in progress • Anza Trail Certification update – California Parks Service to remake wayfaring sign because of edits • Traffic Safety Projects Updates – City working with Caltrans and Monte Sereno about possible solutions to Austin Way/Hwy 9 and Quito Road /Hwy 9 intersections. Circulation Element Final Draft to be ready for Public Review in the early fall. 8. Staff Report • Pending trails updates – Erosion repair on Mt. Eden trail and chips spread on trail near Damon Lane; Meeting with Supervisor Simitian in February outlining Saratoga to Sea Trail updates; Discussion of alternatives to Roundup for weed abatement • Announcements 9. New Business • Upcoming Projects - Plan for park at Quito and Pollard completed and to be reviewed by Parks and Recreation Commission in March. ADA survey of all City owned properties. 10. Reports (information only, no actions to be taken) • Members reports – Quarry Park clean up on January 12th had a good turnout 11. Action Items Summary • Find out if Hakone Gardens is on the list for ADA assessment • Continue to contact Caltrans about Hakone driveway repair 12.
