Date: Tuesday, March 8, 2005 8:30 a.m.
Place: Warner Hutton House, 13777 Fruitvale Avenue
Type: Regular Meeting - Please meet in the parking lot in front of the Warner
Hutton House at 8:30 a.m. and Staff will provide transportation to the site visit
under New Business and return to City Hall by 11:00am
I. Routine Organization
A. Roll Call
B. Approval of minutes from 2/8/05
C. Posting of Agenda – Pursuant to Government Code Section 54954.2, the
agenda was posted on Thursday March 3, 2005
D. Oral & Written Communication - Any member of the public may address the
Commission about any matter not on the agenda for this meeting for up to
three minutes. Commissioners may not comment on the matter but may choose
to place the topic on a future agenda.

III. New Business
A. 8:30 a.m. Review proposed remodel/addition to home located at 20375 Park
Place
B. 9:15 a.m. Review proposed remodel to a residence at 14625 Aloha Avenue
C. 10:00 a.m. Review proposed demolition of home at 21166 Maria Lane
D. Update on impact of City Council meeting concerning commission activities
E. Update on City sites being submitted for the National Registry.
F. Update on County Grant for McWilliams House renovations.
IV. Items to be placed on the next Agenda
A. Update on Work Plan assignments.
B. Review request from the Saratoga Historic Foundation to have a sign placed
on Saratoga Avenue in the orchard saying “Saratoga Historical Orchard, a
Glimpse of the Past, Preserved for the Future”.
C. (Continued from last meeting) Assign HPC member to prepare a DPR and
review history on 19101 Via Tesoro Court to consider the structure for Land
Mark Status and Mills Act Participation.
D. Review list of properties with structures 50 years and over in age
E. Historic Preservation Data Base
F. Plaques
G. Review funds still available from the Historic Park Master Plan, and review
revenue generated for weddings at the Warner Hutton House.
V. Pending Items
A. Adopt a Tree Program for the Heritage Orchard
B. Update Heritage Ordinance
C. Review Oak Street as a Heritage Lane
VI. Adjournment

be taken by filing with the Secretary of the Planning Commission a written notice and
filing fee within 10 days of the date of the decision.
