APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Approve Action Minutes from the Regular Planning Commission Meeting of March 11, 2015.
Action:
WALIA/CHANG MOVED TO APPROVE THE MARCH 11, 2015 MINUTES. MOTION PASSED.
AYES: ALMALECH, CHANG, FITZSIMMONS, GROVER, SMULLEN, WALIA. NOES: NONE.
ABSENT: NONE. ABSTAIN: NONE.
PUBLIC HEARINGS
1. Application MOD15-0001; Blaney Plaza (397-22-018) and adjacent street right-of-way; William Harlow/
Gary Smith (Saratoga Chamber of Commerce). The applicants are requesting modification of a Conditional
Use Permit (CUP) for a Farmer’s Market in conjunction with the required Planning Commission review, in
order to reflect current market operations and recent City improvements to Blaney Plaza. Staff Contact:

Action:
WALIA/FITZSIMMONS MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 15-007 WITH
CHANGES TO THE CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL:
12. Hours of Operation: The marketplace shall be open to the public on Wednesdays from
2:30 pm to 6:30 pm 7:00 pm. Set up and breakdown would occur between 1:30 pm and 2:30
pm and between 6:30 pm7:00 pm and 7:30 pm 8:00 pm, respectively.
MOTION PASSED. AYES: ALMALECH, CHANG, FITZSIMMONS, GROVER, SMULLEN, WALIA.

DIRECTOR/COMMISSION COMMUNICATION
Director Ordoñez updated the Commission of the following:
- City Council will review the short term rental ordinance on April 1.
- A new chair and vice will be appointed in the April 8 Planning Commission meeting, followed by a
study session in the administrative conference room.
- Commissioner Walia attended SPUR/SVLG meeting and the meeting topic was place making.
