HP-21 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA DESIGNATIN~ THE PROPERTY KNOWN AS THE WARNER HUTTON HOUSE AT 13777A FRUITVALE AVENUE AS A HISTORIC LANDMARK The City Council of the City of Saratoga hereby ordains as follows: Section 1: After careful review and consideration of the report of the Heritage Preservation Commission, the application and supporting materials, the City Council has determined that the findings per Exhibit "A" can be made and hereby designates the property at 13777A Fruitvale Avenue as a Historic Landmark. Section 2: This designation shall become operative and take effect thirty (30) days from its date of passage. This ordinance was regularly introduced and after the waiting time required by law, was thereafter passed and adopted this 5th day of April , 1995, by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Jacobs, Moran, Tucker, Wolfe and MayOr Burger NOES: None ABSENT: None MaY~~ ATTEST: City Clerk The above and foregoing (- a true and correct published ~LCCOF'j]!~'] to law. EXHIBIT A REPORT OF FINDINGS 1. The Warner Hutton House has special historical, architectural and aesthetic value as part of the heritage of Saratoga, Santa Clara County and the State of California. 2. The Warner Hutton House satisfies the criteria set forth in Article 13-15.010 of the City Code and as applied by the Heritage Preservation Commission.
