AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA RESCINDING THE DESIGNATION
OF THE PROPERTY KNOWN AS THE HANNAH MCCARTY VINEYARD HOUSE
AT 20600 LOMITA AVENITE AS A HISTORIC LANDMARK
The City Council of the City of Saratoga hereby ordains as
follows:
Section 1: After careful review and consideration of the
request of the Heritage Preservation Commission, the City Council
has determined that the property located at 20600 Lomita Avenue and
commonly known as the Hannah McCarty Vineyard House no longer meets
the criteria set forth in Section 13-15 of the City Code and,
therefore, rescinds Ordinance Number HP-16 which originally
established the Historic Landmark Designation on the property.
Section 2: This rescission shall become operative and take
effect thirty (30} days from its date of passage.
This ordinance was regularly introduced and after the waiting
time required by law, was thereafter passed and adopted this 3rd
day of April , 1996, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Moran, TuCker, Wolfe and Mayor Jacobs
NOES: None
ABSENT: Burger
