A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA
AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2020/21 TO ACCOUNT FOR THE
AMENDED LEASE PAYMENT FROM LOS GATOS-SARATOGA COMMUNITY
EDUCATION & RECREATION
WHEREAS, the City of Saratoga and Los Gatos -Saratoga Community Education and
Recreation (LGS Recreation) lease called for payment of a lease in the amount of $50,000 in Fiscal
Year 2020/21 for use of several City facilities to offer a wide variety of recreational services; and
WHEREAS, the City Council authorized execution of an amended lease to reduce the total
payment amount for Fiscal Year 2020/21 to $14,500 to reflect reduced participation levels
resulting from COVID-19 restrictions; and
WHEREAS, adoption of the budget adjustment resolution will amend the Fiscal Year
2020/21 City of Saratoga Operating Budget to account for the reduced lease payment as follows:

NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the City Council of the City of Saratoga hereby
approves the above adjustment to the Fiscal Year 2020/21 Budget.
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Saratoga
City Council held on the 18th day of November 2020 by the following vote:
