2. Call to Order: Chair Shah called the meeting to order at 8:31 AM
3. Roll Call:
Present: Chair Rina Shah, Vice Chair Annette Stransky and Marie Lopresto
Staff: Nicole Johnson, Senior Planner, Emma Burkhalter, Associate Engineer,
Thomas Scott, Facilities
4. Oral Communications

5. Approval of the March 9, 2021 minutes:
STRANSKY /LOPRESTO MOVED TO APPROVE THE MINUTES FOR THE
MARCH 9, 2021 MOTION PASSED. AYES: SHAH, STRANSKY, LOPRESTO. NOES:
NONE. ABSTAIN: NONE. ABSENT: NONE
6. New Business
a. 20450 Saratoga-Los Gatos Road
SHAH/STRANSKY MOVED TO RECOMMEND APPROVAL FOR A RE-ROOF FOR
THE MUSEUM. MOTION PASSED. AYES: SHAH, STRANSKY, LOPRESTO. NOES:
NONE. ABSTAIN: NONE. ABSENT: NONE
b. Heritage Lane (Saratoga Ave)
The HPC received a report about the re-paving and new bike lanes along
Heritage Lane (Saratoga Ave).

The HPC reviewed and discussed the language proposed for the 5 POI markers
that will be presented at a future City Council meeting.
7. Staff Comments
a. May 5th City Council Meeting-National Preservation Month (proclamation)
Nicole Johnson asked for a volunteer to attend the May 5th City Council
meeting to receive a proclamation for National Preservation Month. Chair
Shah stated she will attend.
8. Old Business
a. National Preservation Month (May 2021)
The HPC discussed preservation events for May.
b. Project Status Update
The commissioners assigned themselves to potential HRI properties.
9. Commission Items
The HPC discussed doing a presentation/recording at a future HPC meeting
to inform residents of the importance of preservation.
10. Adjournment
Chair Shah adjourned the meeting at 9:57 AM.
