RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA
TO APPROPRIATE ADDITIONAL FUNDING FOR GIS CONSULTING SERVICES IN THE
OPERATING BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2021/22
WHEREAS, GIS software services are an integral for the day-to-day functioning for both the
Community Development and Public Works Departments with the expenditures for GIS services divided
equally between Community Development and Public Works Departments operating budgets; and
WHEREAS, the City contracts with a GIS Consulting firm for support and maintenance of the
City's GIS software services; and
WHEREAS, the City has increased the scope of work on the contract with the GIS Consulting
firm for FY2021 /22 and additional funds are needed for the payment terms on the contract, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to adjust the Fiscal Year 2021/22 Operating Budget as follows:

Expenditure 111.5101.64341 $8,500
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Saratoga hereby
approves the above adjustments to the Fiscal Year 2021/22 Operating and Capital Improvement Budget.
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Saratoga City
Council held on the 21 st day of July 2021 by the following vote:
AYES: Mayor Yan Zhao, Vice Mayor Tina Walia, Council Members Mary -Lynne
Bernald, Kookie Fitzsimmons, Rishi Kumar
