A. CalPERS Annual Report
Action Item: none
B. American Rescue Plan Act Grant Funding
Action Item: Recommendation to bring recommended budget adjustments to Council
passed 2-0. A second motion to recommend staff focus on applying American Rescue
Plan Act funding for stormwater infrastructure projects also passed 2-0.
C. Sheriff Services
Action Item: Finance committee recommends this matter be brought to City Council
prior to end of December with additional information on the following cost information
for Council review and discussion.
1. Comparable SRO costs to other cities?
2. Dollar value for total SRO costs?
3. How was $360,000 cost calculated?
4. Do other cities have three way contract like Saratoga's?
5. Provide historical perspective. Was there a written agreement for the
$100,000 cost?
