RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA
TO AMEND THE MCCARTYSVILLE LANDSCAPE AND LIGHTING ASSESSMENT
DISTRICT (LLA-ZONE 9) FISCAL YEAR 2022 BUDGET
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to promote safety and visual appeal of the City by means
of landscape and lighting assessment districts throughout the City, and
WHEREAS, McCartysville is one such assessment district, LLA-Zone 9, and
WHEREAS, the fiscal year 2022 budget appropriated funds for soundwall and entryway
landscaping projects in LLA-Zone 9, and
WHEREAS, sufficient fund balance is available in LLA-Zone 9 to install two entryway signs
as part of the entryway landscaping improvements of LLA-Zone 9,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Saratoga
hereby approves an amendment to the Fiscal Year 20222 budget as follows:
1. Increase expenditure appropriations for Miscellaneous Landscaping Repairs in the
McCartysville Landscape -Zone 9 Landscape and Lighting District by $8,000.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted at
a regular meeting of the Saratoga City Council held on the 6th day of April 2022 by the following
vote:
AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS BERNALD, KUMAR, ZHAO, VICE MAYOR
FITZSIMMONS, MAYOR WALIA
NOES: NONE
ABSENT: NONE
ABSTAIN: NONE
