A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA
APPOINTING JUSTIN CHAO, OVEE DHARWADKAR, LISA JING, ARJUN KRISHNA,
MAGGIE MCCORMICK, AND BRYAN ZHAO TO THE YOUTH COMMISSION
WHEREAS, six vacancies were created on the Saratoga Youth Commission resulting from
the expired terms of Linnea Bradley, Cameron Hicks, Jacob Huang, Aria Jain, Timothy Leung, and
Nicole Lu;
WHEREAS, Commissioners appointed after April 6, 2011 may not serve consecutive terms
on the Youth Commission, therefore there are no incumbent Youth Commissioners eligible for
reappointment; and
WHEREAS,the City publicized the vacancies, accepted applications until 5:00 p.m. on May
6, 2022 and the City Council conducted interviews on May 17, 2022.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Saratoga hereby resolves that the following
individuals are appointed to the Saratoga Youth Commission for 2-year terms beginning July 1, 2022
and ending June 30, 2024 or upon high school graduation, if graduation occurs before June 30, 2024:

The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Saratoga City
Council held on the 1"day of June 2022,by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS BERNALD, KUMAR, ZHAO, VICE MAYOR
FITZSIMMONS, MAYOR WALIA
NOES: NONE
ABSENT: NONE
ABSTAIN: NONE
