A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CI'I'Y OF SARATOGA
AMENDING THE BUDGETS FOR THE STORM DRAIN MASTER PLAN PROJECT
AND THE VILLAGE WATER QUALITY IMPROVEMENT PLAN PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City was awarded $73 million in the 2021 American Rescue Plan Act's
(ARPA) Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Relief Funds (SLFRF), and
WHEREAS, the City Council amended the adopted Fiscal Year 2022 Capital
Improvement Program on March 2°d, 2022 to appropriate five SLFRF funded projects to advance
Clean Water objectives under ARPA, and
WHEREAS, the budget amendment included $300,000 for the Storm Drain Master Plan
project(Project), and
WHEREAS, the City Staff has since received Project bid results of$482,000, including a
20 percent contingency for unanticipated work, and
WHEREAS,the adopted Village Water Quality Improvement Plan project budget may be
reduced to offset the increased $182,000 required for the Project,
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED,that the City Council of the City of Saratoga hereby
approves an amendment to the Fiscal Year 2022 budget as follows:
1. Increase project expenditure appropriations far Storm Drain Master Plan Project by $182,000
2. Decrease project expenditure appropriations for the Village Water Quality Improvement Plan
Project by $182,000
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Saratoga
City Council held on the 15th day of June 2022 by the following vote:

FITZSIMMONS, MAYOR WALIA
