Call to Order at 4:00 pm 2. Roll Call: Stallman, Swan, Waltonsmith; City Liaison Burkhalter Waltonsmith absent 3. Report on Posting of the Agenda: Pursuant to Government Code Section 54954.2, the agenda for this meeting was properly posted on October 10, 2019. So posted 4. Accept Agenda Items and Order: No additional items may be added pursuant to Government Code Section 54954.2. No changes. 5. Approval of Minutes. Minutes for July 16, 2019 approved 6. Oral and Written Communication: Any member of the public may address the Committee about any matter not on the agenda for this meeting for up to three minutes. Committee Members may not comment on the matter but may choose to place the topic on a future agenda. Bill Brooks, former Trails Committee member, spoke about the Quarry Park to Pierce Trail. 7. Old Business • Blue Hills (School) Safety Railroad Crossing update – no update • Prospect Road Improvements update – ribbon cutting in September 2019, project is complete • Traffic Safety Projects Updates – Big Basin Way Sharrows scheduled to be completed by Wattis Construction 8. Staff Report • Pending trails update – clean up and widening of Carnelian Glen Trail from Douglass to Carnelian Glen Ct. • Announcements Saratoga to Sanborn Trail Construction Contract Award – Contract for Saratoga to Sanborn Trail Construction to be awarded to Mountain Bikers of Santa Cruz on 10/16 Pavement Maintenance Program Pedestrian Improvements – striping and signage plans at various locations in the City to be completed as part of Pavement Maintenance Program by Wattis Construction New GIS Site – can be found at www.saratoga.ca.us/GIS 9. New Business • Upcoming Projects o Marden Avenue Trail – PEBTAC in favor of accepting dedications for this new trail connecting Vickery Ave and Aloha Ave • Saratoga to Sea Trail – Construction contract award on 10/16 10. Reports (information only, no actions to be taken) • Members reports – school representatives will be at the TSC for Safe Routes to School 11. Action Items Summary – Quarry Park to Pierce Road Trail to be next trail project 12.
