A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA
APPOINTING JULIE CHEN, SIA CHOWDHRI, HILLARY GONZALEZ, SRIYA
MUKUND AND BIANCA SUTIOSO TO THE YOUTH COMMISSION
WHEREAS, five vacancies were created on the Saratoga Youth Commission resulting from
the expired terms of Nicole Hao, Ashly Henry, Saket Kelkar, Aniket Singh and Alex Xia;
WHEREAS, Commissioners appointed after April 6, 2011 may not serve consecutive terms
on the Youth Commission, therefore there are no incumbent Youth Commissioners eligible for
reappointment; and
WHEREAS,the City publicized the vacancies,accepted applications until 5:00 p.m. on April
28, 2023 and the City Council conducted interviews on May 8, 2023.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Saratoga hereby resolves that the following
individuals are appointed to the Saratoga Youth Commission for 2-year terms beginning July 1,2023
and ending June 30, 2025 or upon high school graduation, if graduation occurs before June 30, 2025:

The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Saratoga City
Council held on the 7th day of June 2023, by the following vote:
