RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF ADMINISTERING AGENCY-STATE
MASTER AGREEMENTS FOR STATE AND FEDERAL-AID-FUNDED PROJECTS
WHEREAS, City of Saratoga is eligible to receive Federal and/or State funding for
certain Transportation Projects through the California Department of-Transportation; and,
WHEREAS, Master Agreements, Program Supplemental Agreements, Fund Exchange
Agreements and/or Fund Transfer Agreements must be executed with the California Department
of Transportation before such funds can be claimed; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of Saratoga wishes to delegate the authority to execute these
agreements and any amendments in association with the Blue Hills Elementary Pedestrian
Crossing at Union Pacific Railroad Project thereto the City Manager.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Saratoga
designates the City Manager as the person authorized to execute all Master Agreements, Program
Supplemental Agreements, Fund Exchange Agreements and/or Fund Transfer Agreements, and
any amendments thereto with the California Department of Transportation in association with the
Blue Hills Elementary Pedestrian Crossing at Union Pacific Railroad Project.
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Saratoga held on 5th day of July 2023 by the following vote:

MAYOR FITZSIMMONS
