A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA
APPOINTING SHARON BOYCE-BENDER TO THE HERITAGE PRESERVATION
COMMISSION
WHEREAS, one vacancy was created on the Heritage Preservation Commission with Joseph
Wherry's resignation of his unexpired term effective January 25, 2022, and one vacancy was created
with the expired term of Sharon Boyce-Bender on December 31, 2023;
WHEREAS, the City announced the vacancies, accepted applications until November IT.,
2023, and the City Council conducted an interview on December 6, 2023.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Saratoga hereby resolves that the following
individual is appointed to Saratoga's Commission as follows:
• Sharon Boyce-Bender, Heritage Preservation Commission; Full Term ending December 31,
2027
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City of Saratoga City Council on this 20"' day of December 2023
by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS PAGE, WALIA, FITZSIMMONS, VICE MAYOR AFTAB,
MAYOR ZHAO
