A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA
APPOINTING RAMYA VASU AND SIANA SMITH TO THE LIBRARY
AND PUBLIC ART COMMISSION
WHEREAS, two vacancies were created on the Library and Public Art Commission when
the City Council combined the Public Art Commission with the Library and Community Engagement
Commission and expanded the Commission to seven members;
WHEREAS, the City Council chose to appoint the remaining members of the former Public
Art Commission to the newly formed Library and Public Art Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Saratoga hereby resolves that the following
individuals are appointed to Saratoga's Commission as follows:
Ramya Vasu, Library and Public Art Commission, Full Term ending September 30, 2028
Siana Smith, Library and Public Art Commission, Partial Term ending September 30, 2026
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Saratoga City
Council held on the 171h day of January 2024 by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS PAGE, WALIA, VICE MAYOR AFTAB, MAYOR ZHAO
NOES: NONE
ABSENT: COUNCIL MEMBER FITZSIMMONS
ABSTAIN: NONE
