A. We have been asked by the Administrative Assistant if we have any projects that can be used for CDBC funds. You may recal 1 these funds are to be used for projects that benefit low income, handicapped, ar senior citizens. The funds to build the bridge at Wi ldwood Park and the handicapped picnic area at El Quito Park are coming from this source. Staff has been unable to came up with a project to submit. Recommended action: Consider arojects to submit for consideration. III. B. Each of you has received a letter f ram the Mayar asking far input for their policy develoument/agenda building process. If ~ the Commission as a whole has any priorities, programs, projects or objectives it would like to see accomplished during the next two fiscal years, they can be discussed and staff will submit your ideas as a Commission report. Recommended action: Consider priorities, programs, projects and objectives. III. C. Tom Devich of CYSA will attend the meeting and give information as to his organization and their need for soccer facilities. Recommended action: No action required. III. D. You may reca 11 at the joint Counci 1 and Commission meeting, there was a discussion as to the appropriate closing time for specific narks. Currently, Section 11~D5.D~0 of the City Code states in~nart that "all narks shall be closed to the public between the hours of 1Q:4~ p.m. and sunrise of the E fallowing day". with Con~n~ission's avaroval staff will have the ~ City Attorney draw un the necessary n~vdifications to City Code to have Dark hours run from dawn to dusk. Recommended action: Adopt a motion that City Code be modified tv state that park hours are to run from dawn to dusk. The subject of utili2ation of the Youth Commission was not included on this agenda because Joan will pat be attending tonight's meeting.
