II. OLD BUSINESS
A) Formation of the Parks and Recreation's Facilit Task
orce
As I stated to the Commission in the memo I recently
sent, Rich Hughes of Hughes, Perry and Associates,
Management Consultants, will assist the Task Force to
facilitate this process. "M~~ .;~~,~„3 for
the first meeting with Mr. Hughes, in which he will help
the Task Force develop a strategy for completing the
priorities plan and develop the desired composition of
the focus groups. °-O we will have another
afternoon session to train the Task Force members in
conducting the Focus Groups.
The tentative lan is to have the Focus Group meeting on
Saturday ~~ The Focus Group's report will be
reviewed by the Parks and Recreation Commissioners at the
July lst meeting and then with City Council at their
~~~~ 9. After that meeting, the final
report will be presented to Council on August for
adoption.
The Commission is to start the selection process of the
Task Force and develop dates for its initial meeting
before the May 3 meeting.
III. NEW BUSINESS
A) Wildwood Park - Dedication Ceremonv•
The Commission needs to plan a dedication ceremony for
the recent improvements at Wildwood Park. Staff suggest
that we could combine the dedication with the Volunteer
and Commissioners Appreciation BBQ on Sunday April 28.
