ACTION MINUTES
I. Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 7:40 p.m.
II. Roll Call
Commissioners present: Krezek, Martini, Newby, Peacock,
Watkins
Commissioners absent: Brenner, Towse
III. Report on Posting of Commission Agenda
Pursuant to Government Code 54954.2, the agenda for this
meeting was properly posted on August 19, 1992.
IV. ~gDroval of Minutes of June 24. 1992
The minutes of the June 24, 1992, meeting were approved
as submitted.
V. New Business
A. Discussion of Pending Budeet (_'utc As~A pri~ritiDa
Susan Fuller, County Librarian, discussed the
impact of potential County budget cuts which may
result from the proposed State budget cuts. If the
Special District Augmentation Fund is cut, losses
to the County Library may range from $1.5 million
to $5.3 million, representing up to 35$ of the
total County Library budget.

Commissioner Bill Watkins reported that Ripley
Associates was recommended by the committee and
unanimously selected by the City Council.
