Absent: Laney Whitcanack, Nina Shah, Becky Brown, Tammy Brown, Aimee Hottinger Staff: None B. Approval Q,f, Minutes The September 19, 1989 minutes were approved as written. C.Postina ~ Agenda Pursuant to Government Code 54954.2, the agenda was posted at City Hall. II. Q1,~ Business A. All committees need to bring at least one goal to the next meeting that they would like to accomplish this year. B. Committee Discussions 1. Warner Hutton House - need to get more information 2. Southern California - come up with date for trip. Check with schools first for dates of Spring Break. 3. Community Service - need to come up with an activity 4. Holiday - need to decide on an activity 5. Ski- set date and location for first ski trip 6. Saratoga Youth Commission Dinner - set date and possible location/restaurant 7. Dance - set date for junior high dance 8. Publicity - nothing at this time 9. Parade - need to get more information 10. Skateboarding - nothing at this time 1 III. egg business A. Leadership Forum 1. Spring 1990 2. Guest speakers, seminars, mock meetings, leadership conferences 3. Committee formed to be in charge of Leadership Forum: Laura Arnstein (Head), Scott Buchanan, Lauren Pedersen, Aimee Ogden, Sharry Hu, Suzanna Agee B. Youth Commission requested that all members receive at the next meeting, a roster with phone numbers. V . Ad j ournm _n Meeting was adjourned at 7:45 p.m. Next meeting is scheduled for Monday, October 16, 1989 at 7:00 p.m. in the Saratoga Community Center (Senior Lounge.) 2
