X60,000 trras allocated for fiscal sear 1977-78 fcr completion of this park`s develorr~ent. The Secretary presented a map sho~,rin~ the location of the 35 trees being; donated by the Rotary Club. The Commission established the following priorities in implementing the Capital _Improve~^Ant Program: A. Central Park Azule Fark ~ Acquisition funds already committed. Tennis court lighting Commissioner Rose said that Los Gatos has been able to develoza parks for considerably less money than is projected for Sarutaga's projects, and asked. the Secretary 'to try and get a cost br_eakdoti~~n from Los Gatos. COl`1GI;.r'"SS SPRINGS PAP,Y SITas The Secretary reported that the City ha.s a choice of asking for a full TRaster Plan for Con~;resU S;~rings Park tahich Mould include both a 9.8 acres and 3.2 acres development, a site plan for both sizes or site plan for. only the 3.2 acres possibility. The Commission recommended that 1,5£i0 be allocated to cover the costs of a site plan for both the g.f3 acres and 3.2 acres possibilities. Cor,r~issioner Gordon so moved and it ~A~as seconded by Commissioner Claerson. The notion passed unanimously. III. T:E`~T BUSITIESS A. CO~iT=UT~lITY GAT',.DEi`T COT~TyITTEE '.LrUEST FOR CAPITAL ITiPRO~TEi~iETiT I'IIl!'DS The Secretary reported that the Community Garden wants to continue development which would include a lecture room. The Comt:~ission did_ not feel that they had enough information to jud~;c th.e needs of the Community Ga.,rden and. asked that they present their request directly to the City Council. B. FUTdDS rOR ~reoraSTRUCTIOr~; AT KEVIT~T ~O~A.T3 FA.?'u The necessary c•~ork includes construction of tiro catch basins in the play area. and connection with the storm drain in order to elirr~inate the drainage problem not, existing at the parr. The only other solution is to back-wash the existing; drain several tires a year. The co~:,ission reco~mended that the sz»:~:ested construction be done,. usin{; this year' s C~:pi to l Improve~:ent 1`unds i_f. a~- all pass- b1.e. T.he Secretary felt that at least part of the work can be done by the Cit;~~ Farks Department. ORAL Comz~issioner Gordon as?>ed rc~~a the Peck Cak Grove has been designated in the I~iaster F'1an. The Secretary said that it is designated as an Open Space Preserve. VI.
