OFFER OF DEDICATION -
The City Council of the City of Saratoga does
hereby ordain as follows:
Section 1: Pursuant to Chapter 2 of Part 3 of
Division 9 of the Streets and Highways
Code of ~he State of and pursuant
Resolution No. 1S1 heretofore 'passed and adopted
by the City Cou~ 0n ~he 5~h day of September,
1962, hearing was held on this Council's proposal
to vacate and abandon the righ~ to accept the herein-
after referred to offer of dedication, which hearing
was held on October 3, 1962, at the hour of 8:00
o'clock P.M. of said day, at the Council Chambers
at the Fruitvale School AudiZori~, Fruitvale Avenue,
Saratoga, California, and the City Council ~kes
the following findings, conclusions and order as
hereinafcer set forth.
Section 2: The City Council finds, from the evidence
sub~tted, mhat said hereinafter described
proposed s~reet, as described in the aforesaid resolution
of inCention~ is unnecessary for presen~ or prospective
street purposes, and the City Council furtker finds
that at least ten (10) days prior to the aforesaid
hearing said proposed street was duly and regularly
posted wizh not less than three (3) copies of notices-
of said szree~ vacation and of said hearing which
notices were not posted r~re than 300 ft. apart.
NOW, ~E~FO~, said Council ~kes the
following order:
Section-3:The City Council of ~he City of Saratoga
hereby orders and . declares tha~ the right
to accep~ the dedication of zhat certain street known
as "Ramsay Drive", which street ~s shown and delineated
on, and which right co accep~ said street is contained
in the offer of dedication se~ forth on, ~ha= certain
final mp entitled '~Sara~oga Glen Tract No. 1690", recorded
in Book 71 of Maps a~ Pages 21 ~o 25, inclusive, in the
office of the County Recorder of the County of Santa
Clara on July 30, 1956, and which street lies be~een
Lot 100 and Lot 101, running from the sou'~h ~ract
boundary Eo a line parallel to and 28 fee~ perpendicular
distance southerly from ~he cenzer line of Bonnie Ridge
Way, be and the same is hereby vacated and abandoned.
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and
adopted by the City Co~cil of the City of Saratoga a~ a
regular meeting held on the 3rd day of October
1962, by the following vote:
AYES: Brazil, Glennon, Drake, Hartman, Ritchie
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
