RESOLUTION VIGOROUSLY OPPOSING THE APPROVAL OF A APPEAL PETITION FOR
A USE PERNIT I~) ~ ESTABLISBI~Iq~ OF A RIDING ACADEMY OR CLUB ON ~
PROPERT~ OF ~ATALZE KENOYER OFF BOliL!t~ ROAD WITHIN ~HE COUNTY OF
W~S, this proposed development is adjacent to ~he City Limits
of the City of Saratoga where low density, single family residences exist
or are planned for future development, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Saratoga finds that such a
~se would he extremsly undesirable for the followin~ reasons:
1) Increased traffic con~eetion on Boblinen Road.
2) Destruction of natural vegetation through EradinS and filling.
3) Incompatibility with surrounding residential areas.
Possible establishment of undesirable health and sanitation
conditions.
5) Possible future development of c_omm_erctal accessory facilities
in conjunction with the Riding Club.
NO~, I~REFORE, the City Council of the City of Saratoga hereby resolves
that it opposes the granting of the subject Use Pe~nt~ and strongly. recommends
to the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors that the dental of the Use
Permit by the Santa Clara County Planning Couplesion for a Riding Academy
or Club on the subject property be upheld.
l~e above resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted
by the City Council of the City of Saratoga at a regular meeting held
on the 15th day of Ha)~ 1963, by the followinS roll call vote:
