A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
$ARA~ DSTERMINING THAT THE PUBLIC INTEREST AND
NECESSITY B~NAND T~E ACQUISITION, CONSTRUCTION AND
COMPIaSTION OF CERTAIN PUBLlC IMPROVEMENTS
PaSOLVED~ by the City Council of the City of Ssratoga~ California,
that it be, and t~ is hereby, ordered and determined as follows:
SECTION 1. That the public interest and necessity demand the acquisition,
construction and completion of the following municipal improvements, to
a) The acquisition of lands and easements for pathways along
city streets and elsewhere in the Cit~, and any other
improvements necessary for their use as pedestrian traffic
ways, and all work auxiliary thereto and necessary to
complete the same;
b) The acquisition of lands for pa~k sites, and all work
necessary and aUxiliary thereto to complete the acquisition
of the same;
c) ~i~ning pool facilities for swimming and diving purposes,
together with site improvements and other works or structures
necessary or convenient therefor, add all work auxiliary
thereto dnd necessary to complete the same;
d} A library, site clearing and development, buildings, furniture,
furnishings, equipment and appurtenances, and all work auxiliary
thereto and necessary to complete the same;
SECTION 2. That the acquisitions and imprOVements mentioned in the
foregoing Section of this Resolution, and each of them, are necessary and
convenient to carry out the objects, purposes and p~ers of the City;
SECTION 3. That the cost of said acquisitions and improvements and
each of them, severally and respectively, will be too great to be paid
out of the ordinary annual income and revenue of the City;
SECTION 4. That the indebtedness for each of the said acquisitions
and improvements will require expenditures greater than the amounts allowed
for them, respectively, by the annual tax levy of said City and ~ill
necessitate incurring bonded indebtedness.
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a full, true and correct copy
of a Resolution duly passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Sarar, oga at a meetit~ thereof held on the 19~.b____day of _June ., 1963,
