SECTION 1: Request is hereby node to the Board De Su.Berviso~s o~ the County
........ o¢ Santa Clara to permit the County Registrar oF Voters to render
the services hereina.f. ter specified to the City De Saratoga relatin~ to the
conduct of the September 17, 196~ ,~peeial Bond Election.
SECTION 2: The City of SaraiDEa re~uests t~at the County P,e~istrar of
Voters perfor~ all services required by law for the conduct o~
the September 17 1963 Special Bond Election For and in the City of Saratoga,
save and except the fe.llo~in~:
(a) Publication oF notice of election.
(b) Publication oF list o~. measures.
(c) Publication of list of ~recincts, election officers, oollin~
places and hours durin~ ~hich ~olls ~ill be eden.
(d) Handling absentee voter a,Blications and ballotin~,.
(e) Canvas of election returns and all subsequent acts ree. uired
to be perfamed by City.
SECTION. 3: The City of Sarato~.n shall pay to the County o~ Santa Clara
'" the actual cost of said services~ such 9ay~ent shall be ~ade when
all of the sa~e are completed and trnon nresentation to the City o~ a nroperly
approved bill from the County.
SECTION 4: The City Clerk of the City of Saratoga is hereby authorized and
' directed to do any and all acts, includinn the enterin~ into any
contract or contracts with the County or Santa Clara as nay be necessary~ in
order to carry out the teas of this resolution.
The above and foreeoin~ resolution was re~ule.rly introduced and thereafter
passed and adopted at a regular Beetin~ oF the City Council o-~ the City of Saratoga
held on the 17th day of Jtlly, 1963~ by the foliowine vote:
