RESOLUTION TO ACCOMPANY
APPLICATION FOR STATE AID
UNDER THE EMERGENCY FLOOD RELIEF LAW
Sections 54150-54164 of Government Code
WHEREAS, the Emergency Flood Relief Law, Sections 54150, at. seq., of the Government
Code, authorizes State aid to repair or restore storm and flood damage or destruction to public real
property having a general public and state interest, subject to the appropriation of the necessary funds
by the State Legislature; and
WHEREAS, during the period from January 30 19 63 to Yebruar}r 2 19 6..3 there
occurred storm and flood damage or destruction estimated at $ 35 t 750 to public real property
having a general public and State interest, hereinafter described, lying within the boundaries of
City Council ;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that application is hereby made to the S~ate of
California for state assistance under said law to repair and restore the public real property described
in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT William C. Hanley City Clerk Administrator

is designated as the applicant's duly authorized representative in all matters arising under this appli-
cation, exclusive of the power to execute, on behalf of applicant, the agreement with the appropriate
State Department for the performance of the work.
