HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 167 ~OLUTXON NO. 167 PaSOLUTION ESTABLISHING PERMIT FEES FOR ELEC~I~L PE~TS The City Council of the City of Saratoga hereby. resolves as follows: Section..._____~: Reference is hereby made to Article 3 of Chapter of Title 11 of the Santa Clara County Ordinance Code adopted by reference by Section 2 of Ordinance NS-4-1 of the City of Saratoga, as amended, relatin~ to electrical permits. There are hereby established the following schedule of electrical permit fees, and the followix~ schedule of classifications of electrical work and the rates applicable thereto, which shall be paid by each applicant for an electrical permit at the time of issuance of the electrical permit. For issuing each permit or additional permit $2.00 For outlets at which current is used or controlled 1-10 2.00 For each outlet over 10 .15 For each motor of not more than ½ H.P. .50 For each motor of not more than 2 H.P. but more than ½ R.P. 1.00 For each motor of not more than 5 R.P. but more than 2 H.F. 1.50 For each motor of not more than 15 H.P. but more than 5 H.P. 2.00 For each motor of not more than 25 H.P. but more than 15 H.P. 3.00 For each motor of not more than 50 H.P. but more than 25 H.P. ~.00 For each motor of not more than 100 R.P. but more than 50 H.P. 8.00 For each motor of more than 100 R.P. 10.00 For each motor-generator set the fee charged shall be 50Z greater than for the motor alone. Air-cooled or oil-cooled lighting and/or power transformers for each transformer-each KVA shall be considered as one horsepower (l H.P,) and chatted for as per motor schedule.
