RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SARATOGA
ADOPTING BUDGET FOR EXPENDITURE OF
FUNDS ALLOCATED FROM THE STATE HIGHWAY FUND TO CITES
WHEREAS, a master agreement has been executed by the City
of Saratoga , hereinafter referred to as
the city, and the State Department of Public Works, Division
of Highways, hereinafter referred to as the department, on
March 8 , 19 61, for expenditure of state allocated
'funds; and,
WHEREAS, a project statement has been prepared and was
· submitted to the department on October 22 , 19 63 showing
the estimated expenditures of such funds recommended't~ be made
during the 19.63-64 fiscal year; and,
WHEREAS, a budget, approved by the department on December
196._~ has been presented to the city council in accordance with
the project statement submitted by the city; and,
WHEREAS, the city council has heard read said budget, as
approved by the department, and is familiar with the contents
thereof;
THEREI~0RE, be it resolved by the city council of the City
of Saratoga that said budget be and is
hereby adopted as the budget of expenditures recommended to
be made from such funds during the 19 6_~-6~ fiscal year.

Section 197 of the Streets and. Highways .Code has submitted to the department a budget proposal
