RESOLUTION REQUESTING SERVICES OF COUNTY REGISTRAR, 1964 GEneRAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION
WHEREAS, the City of Saratoga desires to avail itself of the services
of the County Registrar of Voters for the General Municipal Election in the
City of Saratoga for the year 1964, and the City of Saratoga deems it economical
and satisfactory to request the same as heroinafter set forth,
NOW~ THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Saratoga hereby resolves
as follows:
SECTION 1: Request is hereby made to the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Santa Clara to permit the County Reefattar of Voters
to render the services heroinafter specified to the City of Saratoga
relatinS to the conduct of the 1964 General Mu~icipal Election.
SECTION 2: The City of Saratoga requests that the County Registrar of
Voters perform the fo116win8 services required by
the conduct of the General Municipal Election for and in the City of
Sar a tog a:
(a) Preparation of precinct registration listin~
(b) Preparation of sample ballot inserts
(C) Preparation of indexes
(d) Stuffin~ and mailin~ sample ballots
(e) FurnishinS of sample ballot envelopes
SECTION 3: The City of Sarato3a shall pay to the County of Santa Clara
the actual cost of said services, such payment shall be made
when all of the same are completed and upon presentation to the city of
a properly approved bill fr~n the county.
SECTION 4: The City Clerk of the City of Saratoga is hereby authorized
end directed to do any and all acts, including the entering
into any contract or contracts with the County of Santa Clara as may be
necessary, in order to carry out the terms of this resolution.
The above and foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and thereafter
passed and adopted at a regular meetinS of the City Council of the City of
Saratoga held' on 'the 19th day of February, I964~ by the following vote:
