RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF
COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT 63-48H25 CONCERNING EMERGENCY
~OOD RELIEF LAW FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR CITY OF SARATOGA
WHEREAS, the Emergency Flood Relief Law, Sections 54150, et. seq.,
of the ~overnment Code, authorizes State aid to repair or restore storm
and flood damage or destruction to public real property having a general
public and state interest, subject to the appropriation of the necessary
funds by the State Legislature; and
WHEREAS, during the period from January 30, 1963 to February 2, 1963
there occurred storm and flood damage or destruction to public real property
having a general public and State interest, hereinafter described, lying
within the boundaries of the City of Saratoga;
WHEREAS, .application has been made to the State of California for
state assistance under said law to repair and restore the public real
property so damaged;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT William E. Gl_ennon _
(Mayor)
authorized to execute, on behalf of the City of Saratoga Cooperative
Agreement 63-48R25 for Emergency Flood Relief Law Financial Assistance.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and
regularly adopted by the City Council of the City of Saratoga at a
regular meeting held on the 18day of March, 1964, by the following
vote:
