PLAN REVIEW
~, the City of Saratoga desires to pTovide for a plannin~
study contribu=ing to an oVer-all program for future conmmni=y develop-
men~, the p=esel-~a=ion of cornunity valuess the preven=ion of conditions
=ending to cause urban bligh=, and =he promotion of the general health,
safety~ and welfare of .i~S citizens;
WHEREAS~ =he S~a~e Depa~nent of Finance, Under authori=y of
Chap=er 1641, Sta=u=es of 1959s may provide plannin~ assistance for such
a program and receive financial assis=ance from ~he Urban Renewal Adn~n-
istration~ as .authorized 7by Section ~O1 of =he Housing Act of 195~, as
amended ~ublic Laws~ 83rd Congress); now ~herefore, be i=
RESOLVED~ =ha= the City Council of =he City of Saratoga hereby
requests =he S~ate Depa=~nent of Finance to provide plannin~ assis=ante
under au=hority of Chapuer 1641, S=a=utes of 1959~ with suc~ financial
assistance as may be provided by =he Urban Renewal Aaministration, under
authority of Section 70i of ~/~e Housin~ Act of ~954, as amended
La~s 860~ 83rd Congress). That such planning assistance is more particu-
larly described in a project descri~=ion that is a==ached hereto and made
a part of =h~s'resoiution as if fully se= forth herein.
TPa~T~ =he City Cuunc~l of the City of Sarato~a~ subjec= to appro-
val of such plannin~ assistance by the State and Federal au=hori=ies~
hereby authorizes:
a) paymen~ =o the State Departmen= of Finance of' a sum not
exceed $~,390.00
b) use of personnel of =he City of Saratoga for =echnical assis-
=ante in =his projec=~ which assistance has an estima=ed
value of $1~810.00.

as planned is ~8,600.00.
