RESOLUTION NO. 201
A RESOLUTION OVERRULING PROTESTS ON RESOLUTION OF
INTMION N0. 185
CHESTER AVEN~ IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Saratoga,
California, that
WHEREAS, this Council did on May 6, 1964, adopt its Resolu-
tion of Intention No. 185 to acquire and construct public im. prove-
ments in and for said City;
WHEREAS, on August 5, 1964, this Council adopted. a resolu-
tion appointing time and place of hearing protests In relation
to the proposed acquisitions and improvements and directing
not ice;
WHEREAS, notice was given of the time and place therein
stated in the manner provided by law, as appears from the affi-
davits on file in the office of the CitF Clerk;
WHEREAS, said matter came on regularly for hearing st the
time therein fixed; and
WHEREAS, all written protests and other written communica-
tions were publicly read st said meeting and. all persons desiring
to be heard were fully heard;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows:
1. That protests against said acquisitions and improvements
were not signed by the owners of a majority or more of the ares
of the lands within the assessment district~ or of the area of
the lands within the assessment district assessed for the costs
and expenses of said work.
2. That said protests be, and each of them are hereby~
overruled.
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a full, true and
correct copy of Resolution duly passed and aldopted by the City
Council of the City of Saratoga, California, at a meeting thereof
held on the 16th day of Septembez .~ 196 ~_L, by the following
vote of the members thereof:
AYES, and in favor thereof, Councilmen:
Glennon, Hartman, Drake
NOES, Councilmen: Burry, Tyler
ABSENT, Councilmen: None
