A RF~0L~ION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT
CHESTER AVEN~ IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Saratoga,
California, that
WHEREAS, said Colincil did in open session on the 16th day
of September, 1964, publicly examine and declare all sealed
proposals or bids for the work to be done and improvements to be
made, as described and specified in Resolution of intention No.
185 adopted by said Council on May 6, 196~, to which resolut~on
reference is hereby made for s description of the work and improve-
ments to be done and the materials, supplies and equipment to be
furnished therefor;
NOW, THEEFOE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows:
1. That said Council hereby rejects all of said proposals
or bids except that hereinafter mentioned, and hereby awards the
contract for doing the work and improvements and furnis. hing the
materials, supplies and equipment necessary therefor, to the
lowest respon~ [ble bidder, to-wit:
at the unit prices named in their bid.
2. That the Mayor of said City is hereby authorized to
make and enter into a written contract with said successful
bidder, and to receive and approve all bonds in connection there-
with, and the City Clerk of said City is hereby directed to
attest his signature and affix thereto the official seal of said
City.

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a full, true and
correct copy of Resolution duly passed and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Saratoga, California, at a meeting thereof
held on the ?th day of October , 196 4 ~ by the following
vote of the members thereof:

Hartman, Surry, Tyler
