HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 216 RESOLUTION NO. =~16,:~ RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING LACK OF MAJORITY PROTEST ON ANNEXATION "SAR 1964-1" WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 208 of the City of Saratoga, on Wednesday, the 2d day of December, 1964, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock P.M. at the Council Chambers of the City of Saratoga, a hearing was held before this Council on any written 'protests against the aforesaid annexation known as "SAR 1964-1", and WHEREAS, no written protests have been filed against said annexation, NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Saratoga does hereby resolve as follows: Section 1: Pursuant to Section 35313.2 of the Government Code of the State of California, this Council hereby finds that a majority protest annexation "'BAR 1964-1u has not been made, and this Council is authorized by 'law to approve or disapprove said annexation by ordinance. The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted on the 2d day of December, 1964, by the following vote: AYES: councilmen Glennon, Hartman, Drake, .Tyl Burry NOES: None ~. ~,~ ABSENT: None CITY
