RESOLUT~.0N..ABANDONING P. UBLI C UTILITY EASEMENT
The City Council of the City of Saratoga hereby
resolves as follows:
WHEREAS, the hereinafter described public Utility
easement as shown end delineated on that certain final
subdivision map of Tract #1321, Merrick Villa, Saratoga,
California, which map was filed for record on the 22nd day
of June , 19,~!~4, in the Office of the Recorder of
Santa Clara County in Book 50 of Maps, at Pages 38 & 39
is hereby found to be unnecessary for the purposes intended,
and
WHEREAS, the public utility entities for which said
easement was designed and intended, to-wit, Pacific Gas and
Electric Company and the Pacific Telephone and Telegraph
Company, have filed with this City in writing their consent
to the abandonment of said easement,
NOW, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that that
certain public utility easement more particularly described
on l'!lExhibit A~. '!attached hereto and incorporated herein by
reference, be and the same is hereby abandoned.
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and
adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Saratoga held on the 16thday of June , 1965,
by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen Glennon, Drake, Hartman, Bu
NOES: none . B ~
ABSENT: Councilman Tyler

That certain public utility easement lying south of and
adjacent to the northerly line of Lot 4, Block 3, Tract 1321
as shown on map of said tract filed in Book 50 of Maps at
Pages 38 and 39 Official records of Santa Clara County
on June 22, 1954.
