A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE POSITION OF ADMINISTRATIVE
FIXIN8 TEE COMPENSATION THEREFOR AND ESTA-
BLISHING THE DUTIES THEREOF.
The City Council of the City of Saratoga hereby resolves as
follows:
Section 1,1: There is hereby established within the office of
the City Administrator, the position of Admini-
strative Assistant, an appointive office to be filled by the
City Council.
Section. 1.2~: It shall be the duty of the Administrative Assis-
tant to assist the City Administrator in perform-
lng the duties of his position as set forth in Ordinance #15 of
the City of Saratoga and all amendments thereto, subject to the
following provisions:
1. The City Administrator may delegate such portion of
his functions to the Administrative Assistant as the
City Administrator shall deem appropriate.
2. The Administrative Assistant shall be responsible
through the City Admimis.trator to the Mayor and City
Council in the same manner and to the same degree as
the City Administrator.
SECTION 2:
2.1: In the ease of the inability of the City Admini-
strator to perform. his duties by reason of his
death, resignation, illness or absence, the Administrative Assis-
tant shall perform all of the duties of the City Administrator
until such time as such ~lsability shall be removed or until a
new City Administrator is appointed.
SECTION
S~ectio~ 3.....!: The compensation for the Administrative Assistant
of the City of Saratoga is hereby fixed and esta-
blished at the sum and rate of three h~dred. seventy five dollars
($375.00) per month.
The above and foregoing resolution was duly and regularly intro-
duced and passed by the Council of the City of Saratoga at a regular
meeting held on the .... 3rd. . .........day of J.!, 1957, by the
following vote:
