HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 346 RE, SOI,UTION NO. 346 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA CONFIRMING AGREEPHEblT WITH THE CITY OF MONTE SERENO ON THE FU~E CO~O~N:_BOUNDARy BEIWEEN SAID CITIES. gHERBASs the Santa Clara County Local A~encies ~ormation Cornlesion has requestads by letter dated December 31~ 1965, that cities agree as to their future common boundaries s and WHEREASs pursuant to said requests discussions have been held between representatives of the Cities of Saratoga and Monte Sereno and tentative agreement has been reached that the common boundary shall follcn-r the present County Supervfcorial D~stricts i and 4 from the intersection of said line with the Santa Clara County-Santa Cruz County line northerly and easter!ys including the centerline of San Tomas Aquino Creek ~rom the vicinity of Austin Way to Bicknell Roads excepting a deviation from said District boundary line to include all of Bohlman Road on the Saratoga side of said future City common boundary lines all as more particularly described on Exhibit attached hereto and delineated in part on the map marked Exhibit "B" attached hereto; and WI~EREASs the City Council of the City of Monte Sereno accepted and confirmed the aforesaid agreement by Resolution No. 271~ passed and adopted the first day of Novembers 1966s NOW, THMFOREs BE IT RESOLVED that the City Counc~.l of the City of Saratoga that it also accepts and confirms the aforesaid agreement and recommends that the Local Agencies Formation Commission adopt said boundary line in considering future development of the area concerned.
