A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA CONSENTING TO AND
CONCURRING IN THE PROPOSAL AND PETITION OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL TO CORRECT
AND RELOCATE THEIR COMMON BOUNDARY IN THE VICINITY OF SAN TOGAS AQUINO CREEK
AND AVON LANE.
WHEREAS~ the boundary between the City of Saratoga and the City of
Campbell in the vicinity of San Tomas Aquino Creek North of Pollard Road
now conflicts with established property lines; and
Wt{EREAS, the City Council of the City of Campbell has, by its Communica-
tion dated Nov. 8m 1967 petitioned the City of Saratoga for the correction
and relocation of ;this common boundary line~ pursuant to the provisions of
Article 8~ Paragraph 50190 of the Government Code of the State of California,
and
WHEREAS, the proposed relocation of said boundary lines conforms as
nearly as practical to the former boundaries~ and
WHEREAS~ the relocation of said boundary lines will be in a manner that
the majority of the area of the parcel of property affected determines the
entity within whose boundaries the parcel or property is or shall be located,
and such relocation does not relocate within the boundaries of either the City
of Saratoga or the City of Campbell, property in any parcel in excess of one
acre in area, and
%41{EREAS~ a map and exact copy of the description of the proposed relocation
of boundary lines as heroin described has heretofore been submitted to and
approved by the Local Agency Formation Commission of the County of Santa Clara,
NOW~ THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Saratoga hereby resolves
as follows:
Section 1. All of the preambles heroinabove set forth are hereby referred
to and incorporated heroin by reference as findings of this City Council.
Section 2, That the parcels of land affected by the proposed location of
the new boundary lines are lands lyinS and being within the territories described
as Parcels A through F of the attached Exhibit A.
Section 3. The City Council of the City of Saratoga, pursuant to the
provisions of Article 8~ Paragraph 50190 of the Government Code of the State
of California~ does hereby consent to and concur in the aforesaid request and
petition of the City Council of the City of Campbell for the correction and
relocation of their common boundaries in the vicinity of San Tomas Aquino Creek
North of Pollard Road, pursuant to petition of Nov. 8, 1967 to the end that the

westerly boundary of the City of Campbell and the easterly boundary of the
City of Saratoga shall follow the realignment of the San Tomes Aquino Creek
and shall be described as follows:
Beginning at the most southerly corner of Tract No. 4133, "Cameo Park
West Unit No. 2" recorded in Book 226 of Maps at page 20, Santa Clara
County Records, said corner being on the centerline of Pollard Road; thence
S 75°20'00'' W 35.00 feet to the proposed centerline of the realignment
of the Arroyo San Tomas Aquino; thence along said proposed centerline,
S 14°49'05'' E 20.00 feet to the True Point of Beginning on the southerly
line of said Pollard Road; thence N 14°49'05'' W 97.47 feet; thence
continuing along said centerline. ~n a northerly direction along a
tangent curve having a radius of 200.00 feet, concave easterly,
through a central angle of 44°42'34'' for an arc length of 156.07 feet;
thence N 29°53'29'' E 384.96 feet; thence along a tangent curve to the
left having a radius of 200.00 feet through a central angle of 21°42'47''
for an arc length of 75.79 feet; thence N 08°10'42'' E 289.43 feet; thence
on a tangent curve to the right having a radius of 400.00 feet through
a central angle of 15° 14'10" for an arc length of 106.37 feet; thence
N 23~24'52'' E 95.33 feet; thence on a tangent curve to the left having
a radius of 300.00 feet through a central angle of 04~57'07'' for an
arc length of 25.93 feet; thence N t8~27'45'' E 75.28 feet; thence on
a tangent curve =o the left having a radius of 475.00 feet through a
central angle of 29~02'56'' for an arc length of 240.82 feet; thence
N 10~35'11'' W 133.91 feet to the intersection thereof with the exist-
ing center line of Arroyo San Tomes Aquino.
Section 4. A copy of this Resolution and consent is hereby ordered
filed forthwith with the City Clerk of the City of Campbell and pursuant
to the Government Code Sections of the State of California applicable
thereto, the City Council and the City Clerk of the City of Campbell are
hereby requested to complete the correction and relocatfon of the con~non
boundaries of said cities in accord vith the aforesaid petition and this
consent.
The above and foregoing resolution was regularly passed and adopted at a
regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Saratoga held on the 15th
day of Novend~er, 1967 by the following vote:
