A RESOLUTION OVERRULING PROTESTS ON
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO o 344
VERDE VISTA IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
RESOLVED., by the City Council of the City of Sara. toga~
California~ that
WHEREAS.~ this Council did on October 19~ 1966~ adopt its
Resolution of Intention No~ 344~ as subsequently amended~ to acquire
and construct public improvements in and for said City;
WHEREAS., on July 37 i968~ this Council adopted a resolution
appointing time and place of hearing protests in relation to the
proposed acquisitions and improvements and directing notice;
WHEREAS~ notice was given of the time and place therein
stated in the manner provided by law, as appears from the affidavits
on file in the office Of the City Clerk;
WHEREAS~ said matter came on regularly for hearing at the
time therein fixed~ and
WHEREAS~ all wr'i~:ten protests and other writt, en communica-
tions 'were publicly read at said meeting and ~,11 persons desiring
to be heard were f'~ally heard;
NOW.~ THEREFORE~ lit IS ORDERED, as follows:
'1~ That protests against said impr'ovemen't:s were not signed
by the owners of a majority or more of the area of the lands
within the assessment district~ or of the area of the lands within
the assessment district .assessed for the costks and expenses of said
work~
2~ That said protests be~ and each of them are hereby~
overruled ~
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a full, true and
cotToot copy of Resolution duly passed and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Saratoga, California, at a meeting thereof
