A RESOLUTION OF TIlE CITY. OF SARATOGA APPROVING BUDGET
FOR THE VILLAGE PARKING MAINTENANCE DISTRICT NO. 1 AND
FIXING TAX RATE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1969-70.

329, adopted by the Council of the City of Saratoga on ~.{ay 4, 2.966, as
amended;
I~{EREAB . said maintenance district was formed for the purpose of
maintaining and operating off-street motor vehicle parking facilities
in and for said maintenance district;
I,~IEREAS, a budget for the fiscal. year 1968-69 for sai{~ mainten.~nc~
district has been heretofore submitted to this Council; and

served thereby;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ~ERK, BY FOI~D, DETE~.TIYED A~D ~R~E~.ED, as
1. That the budget for Village Parking '~aintenance District !Io. ], h~ro-
tofore submitted. be. and it is hereby. approved, and it is hereb~ determfn,~!
that all of the costs of maintenance and operation within said maintenance
district shall be borne wholly by said maintenance district.
2. That the minimum amount of money required for the puDoses of main-
taining and. operating the parking facilities in and for said maintenance
di.~trict during the fiscal year ending June 30, 1970, to cover the cn,~ts and
expenses of maintaining said improvements. will Be in the sum of
and it is hereby estimated that said sum is the minimum amount ~f money
required by said district for such purposes during said ensuing fiscal year.
3. That the rate of taxation for the purpose of raising said monies for
the maintenance and operation of the marking facilities in and. for saict
maintenance district is hereby fixed at $1.45 for each SID~.~ ~f taxa~le
real property in said maintenance district.
4. The Village Parking Maintenance District ~o. ! ~as formed ~ursuant
to Chapter 26, comDrising Sections 5820 through 5~56 of Division 7 of the
Streets and Highways Code. The budget for maintenance fmr the fiscal
year 1969-70, and this resolution, are approved an~ adopted pursuant to
Sections 5830 and 5831 of said Streets and Highways Code.
The above and foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduce{t
and adopted by the City Council of the City of Saratoga at a regul~.r
meeting held on the 20th day of August, 1969, by the following vote:
