A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 432 BY PROVIDING FOR THE
ADDITION OF TWO YOUTH MEMBERS TO THE PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Saratoga, California, that
Resolution No. 432, being A RESOLUTION CREATING PARKS AND RECREATION
COMMISSION, is amended as follows:
SECTION 1: Section 1 of Resolution No. 432 is amended to increase
the number of members to be appointed to the Saratoga Parks and
Recreation Commission to nine (9) members, two of whom shall be
students. The students shall be appointed in the following
manner: one (1) from Saratoga High School, and one (1) from either
Westmont, Prospect, Lynbrook, or any other high school attended by
Saratoga residents, on an annual rotation basis. Terms of the
student members shall be one year, running from January of the
Junior year to January of the Senior year.
The above and foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and
passed by the City Council of the City of Saratoga at a regular meeting
held on the 1st day of October, 1969, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen Tyler, Sanders, Smith, Dwyer
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilman Robbins
