A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SARATOGA ADOPTING 1969 MODIFICATION TO THE
SARATOGA GENERAL PLAN, 1968.
WHEREAS, the Saratoga Planning Commission has conducted the
General Plan Review for 1969, and
WHEREAS, the Saratoga Planning Commission has held public
hearings on the General Plan Review for 1969 as required by law,
and
WHEREAS, the Saratoga Planning Commission incorporated into
the General Plan Review for 1969 a new Park Element based on studies
conducted by the Saratoga Parks and Recreation Commission, and
WHEREAS, the Saratoga Planning Commission on June 23, 1969,
recor~nended adoption of the General Plan Review for 1969, and
WHEREAS, the Saratoga Planning Commission on September 22, 1969,
recommended adoption of the 1969 Parks and Recreation element of the
General Plan and on November 10, 1969, after additional study request-
ed by the City Council, again recommended adoption of the 1969 Park
Element of the General Plan, this time with some modifications, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has held Public Hearings on the General
Plan Review for 1969 and on the 1969 Park Element of the General Plan
as required by law, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has studied the General Plan Review for
1969; the 1969 Park Element of the General Plan; the testimony, both
written and oral, presented at the required public hearings; and the
modifications proposed in the reports submitted by the Planning Com-
mission.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City Council of the City
of Saratoga does hereby adopt the General Plan Review for 1969, as
recommended by the Planning Commission June 23, 1969, and the 1969
Park Element~ of the General =plan as shown on Exhibit "f' attached,
and incorporate them with the Saratoga General Plan, 1968, as the
1969 modification to the Saratoga General Plan, 1968.
The above and foregoing was duly and regularly introduced and
passed at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Saratoga
held on the 3rd day of December, 1969, by the following vote.
AYES: Councilmen Tyler, Dwyer, Robbins, Smith, Sanders
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
