A RESOLUTION DIRECTIN~ MAKING OF AMENDED
ASSESSMENT RE CERTAIN ASSESSMENTS UNDER
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO.
VERDE VISTA IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
CITY OF SARATOGA
ASSESSMENT NO. 9
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Saratoga,
Santa Clara County, California, that
WHEREAS, an assessment and diagram was made and filed with
the City Clerk of said City all pursuant to Resolution of Inten-
tion No. 344, adopted by the City Council of said City on
October 19, 1966, and the provisions of the Municipal Improvement
Act of 1913, and said assessment was confirmed by said Council
on August 7, 1968, and recorded in the office of the SuperinSen-
dent of Streets of said City; and
WHEREAS, certain lots or parcels of land upon which there
are unpaid assessments against which bonds have been issued under
the Improvement Bond Act of 1915, have been divided so that they
no longer conform to the original parcel boundaries as shown on
said assessment;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, that:
1. The Director of Public Works~l shall cause to be pre-
pared and filed with the City Clerk a report and amended assess-
ment and diagram of the lots or parcels so divided, said parcels
being designated Assessment No. 9.
2. That the unpaid installments of said original assess-
ment shall be segregated and apportioned in accordance with the
benefits to the several parts of the original lot or parcel and
the total amount of the assessments of the several portions of the
original lot or parcel shall be equal to the unpaid assessment
upon said original lot or parcel of lando
3. That Wednesday, the 3rd day of June, 1970, at the
hour of 8:00 o'clock P.M., at the regular meeting place of said
Council, Council Chambers, City Hall~ 13777 Fruitvale Avenue~
Saratoga, California, be, and the same are hereby, fixed as the
time and place for hearing said amended assessment before said
Council.
4. That the City Clerk of said City shall advertise the
time and place of such hearing before the Council by publishing
a notice of said amended assessment twice in the Saratoga News,
a newspaper of general circulation published and circulated in
said City, the first publication being not less than fifteen (15)
days before said hearing.

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a full, true and
correct copy of Resolution duly passed and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Saratoga, California, at a meeting
thereof held on the 6~h day of May , 19 70 ,
