policy ~esolutions calling for strong sign control regulations ~o pro~te
~cellence of d~elopment; and

the dist~ac~i~ and unsightly effects of off-si~e advertisi~ signs; and
~~ ~he City o~ Saratoga has already prohibited all off-si~e
adve~tisi~ si~s, ~cept stall, ~e~o~ary off-site subdivision sigus~ and
requi~es thei~ abat~ent;

othe~ cities in the County a~e hereby urged to e~ct regulations prohibiti~
o~-si~e adve~siti~ si~us located within 600 feet o~ any county e~ressway;
